Department of Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering at Ege University has stood out since its establishment as one of the most well-established engineering departments in Türkiye, distinguished by its scientific research and collaborations with industry. Our department aims to educate engineers who are competent in the fundamental areas of chemical engineering, and who are research-oriented, innovative, and possess a strong sense of ethical responsibility.

The language of instruction in our department is 100% English. Our students gain knowledge and skills in a wide range of areas, from the design and optimization of chemical processes to energy, environmental, and materials engineering. Our modern research and education laboratories provide students with opportunities to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and to develop projects.
