Before 2007, ERASMUS Programme located under EU General Education Programme SOCRATES has started in Turkey with a pilot Project, with the participation provided from the 2003-2004 academic year a limited number of University and department.  In the pilot project period (2003-2004 academic year), 3 students went abroad, two students from abroad also came to the Faculty.

2004-2005 academic year, starting from our country as a full participant in the country can benefit from this Programme.

Basic principles of Erasmus programme: Erasmus mobilities are based on bilateral agreements between higher education institutions.

The Erasmus studies last from 3 months up to 12 months. Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students can benefit from the change. All undergraduate students must have at least one complete year of full-time. Students never pay tuition fees at their host university, but they have to continue to pay their normal tuition fees to the home institution during the study period abroad.

Students can take part in a study period abroad only once during the whole of their studies at higher education institutions (HEIs)

Erasmus Programme  Bilateral Agreements

Please see below the list of Erasmus “Bilateral Agreements” of the department of the Engineering Faculty  for 2013-2014. These agreements covered by the students and a total change of time (months) are given in the table.
